The new multiplayer modes allowing for play between 10 players and the improved game play are the reasons for its numerous awards including Best Xbox 360 Game for 2008, which should be reason enough to purchase it for your collection, too.

5) If you haven’t heard of Halo 3 and Master Chief already, then you don’t know what you’ve been missing. Part three of the internationally award-winning series, Halo 3 stands on its own. Three features of note: The multiplayer map lineup, the ability to save your films, and the Forge level editor. And don’t forget the advanced AI! For veteran players and new players, Halo 3 is a must have for anyone who loves games.

6) The Beatles: Rock Band, for people who aren’t into shooters, for people who aren’t into horror and gore, and for people who are into music …for anyone everywhere who has ever wanted to be a rock star, here is your chance. The world’s best music game finally lets you play with the Beatles themselves! You can play 45 songs, from “I Want to Hold Your Hand” to “I Am the Walrus,” this game is a game for everyone.
